The Leapyear Project:  An invitation to use 2012 as a catalyst for people around the globe to take risks that could change their life, community, or their world for the better. I’m working with people around the globe to raise the funding and launch the project in fall 2011.
Role: Founder, Risk Taker

The Prop: A project group that is focused on connecting people doing good. We believe that relationships are the most powerful means for social change. We’ve begun with bringing artists and creatives together with non-profits through creative events. In our first year we sparked 8 events in three states and connected 1,500 people to 6 world-changing organizations. The upcoming year(s) will focus on inviting a larger audience and learning how we can become financially viable.
Role: Co-founder & Catalyst

Christ Community Church & The Hub: Worked with a rockstar team of paid staff and volunteers to mentor middle school and high school students.  We developed programs, curriculum , and equipped adult mentors. I also created all kinds of video, design, and events as the Assistant Creative Director for our 1,000+ students and our 40,000 sq ft student building (The Hub). In other words, we had a lot of fun together.
Role: Youth Pastor, Creative Director, & Resident Middle Eastern

It’s true. I have a big mouth. And I’ve used it for everything from spoken word to lectures about Egyptian culture to sermons to creative brainstorming.
